La Gomera walking holidays - GPS map datum set up using Magellan GPS 315
Please would anyone on the island of La Gomera check if the following map datum set up parameters are correct:
They are supposed to match the PICO DE LAS NIVIES map datum
1. MENU - SETUP - COORD SYSTEM - PRIMARY - LAT/LONG
2. MAP DATUM - PRIMARY - USER

DELTA A +0251.000 M
DELTA F +0.14192702 (enter as shown, note x10,000)
DELTA X -0307.0 M
DELTA Y -0092.0 M
DELTA Z +0127.0 M
Please find a point on the map where the latitude and longitude are clearly defined, for example at a crossing point of the marked lines. Find such a point which coincides with a clearly marked physical feature, road junction etc. Go to this place exactly and record what is the GPS readout, using the above settings.
